I´m going to talk about the life expectancy in the different countries.
Life expectancy is a measure of the average time an organism is expected to live according to the year of birth and other demographic factors. This expectancy is different in every country because the way of life, climate, food...may be another.
The countries with more expectancy are this ten: Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, Spain, Australia, Italy, Iceland, Israel, France and Sweden in the order in which I have put it.
Our country, Spain, is one of the countries with people over 110 years with Sweden and France, they are called the "supercentenarians".
Spain has an average of 82.7 years of life, but some recent studies have said the average has gone up to 83.38 years over the United States (78.74) and below Italy (83.49)
What are the main factors that affect longevity?
The first one is the gender, so, is true that women live more than men? We can say yes, according to some studies mortality rates, concluding for female are lower, therefore women live more than men.
Genetics are also an important factor, there is alink between mortality rates and genetics. Diseases like cancer, influenza, cerebrovascular accidents are the main cause of death in 9 of the 10 cases of death.
Prenatal and chilhood conditions they also have something related. Risks increase at advanced ages when there are poor conditions in the utero.
Another one is marital status, people who are married die less than people who are divorced, widowed or single. Studies suggest that the marriage improves cardic health, motivates people to visit the doctor or prevents isolation or illness.
Socio-economic status affect people health, because they don´t vsit the doctor, do exercise and they start smoking and drinking alcohol.
Education is linked with socio-economic status, so being realted affect longevity. Higher education levels are aasocaiated with the less consume of tobacco and obesity.
Ethnicity is another factor. Hispanic people live more than black. It´s also related with socio-economic status
Lifestyle; the main factor which affect mortality it has always been an unhealthy diet, combining tobacco, alcohol, motor vehicle safety amomg others. A 5% of adults are considered obese.
Medical Technology, medicine has also suffered avences in medicines, antibiotics and the way to operate patients, which has made us live more.
But longevity has only improved in developed countries such the ones I said before. But what about the countries with less expectancy? The top ten are: Sierra Leone, Angola, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d´Ivoire, Lesotho, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan and Cameroon.
There are very notable differences between developed and underdeveloped countries. Some of the most common factors of mortality in these countries are; absence of vaccines, bad nutrition and poor education in children under ten years.
At the time of being mother, motherhood will be different between the two countries.
In teenagers and adults, the type of food, the illnesses, the lifestyle are relevant. Many food they eat, most of it comes from animals that have diseases that affect human. They live in shanty villages sorrounded by lot of bacterias and viruses because they don´t wash their clothes or even theirselves. The most normal diseases are: anger, malaria, rubella, flu, the dream disease, AIDS and tuberculosis.
The AIDS in spanish SIDA is a disease caused by the VIH virus that have killed about 19 million of people since the epidemic began, the mayority of them from Sub-Saharan Africa.
