In the first place I´m going to explain some information about these two countries:

Spain is located on the Iberian Peninsula in Europe, includes two archipelagoes, The Balearic Islands in the Mediterranen Sea and The Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, near Africa and two cities on the African mainland: Ceuta and Melilla. It´s the largest country in Southern Europe and the capital is Madrid with 3.182.981 inhabitants. Other big cities are Bilbao, Seville, Malaga, Barcelona and Valencia. Spain is a secular parliamentary democracy and constitucional monarchy with King Felipe VI as head of state.

Germany is a federal parliamentary republic in central-western Europe with 16 states. It has 82 million inhabitants with Berlin as capital. Berlin has 3.711.930 inhabitants. Another major cities are Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Bremen and Düsseldorf.

Spain has become again a net recipient of inmigrants. In 2016 more people came to live here than left the country, that is because crisis has finished and inmigrants want to come again. The data for 2016 showed the higher numbers of inmigration since 2008. As a result of the end of the crisis, less people emigrate to other countries in search of job opportunities. A trend we haven´t seen since 2009, when the economic crisis sent away both.

For the first time, Spanish population has seen a rise. The boom of inmigrants started in 2000 and fell in 2009.
In 2013, when the crisis was in the worst moment, Spain lost about a quater million inhabitants. In 2015 more inmigrants came to Spain than Spaniards went out. According to an article of the "El País" the main country of origin is Venezuela where a political and economic crisis has pushed nearly 30.000 people out who have come to Spain and the second most important country is Morocco, with close numbers with Colombia and Romania. But according to recent studies you have sent us the Top 10 countries for inmigration are: Morocco, Romania, Ecuador, Colombia, United Kingdom, Argentina, France, Germany, Perú and Bolivia in this order.

Over 2.3 million of Spaniards are living in other countries. Many young people emigrate to countries where they can have a better salry working their respective hours. Spain for the first time has registered more deaths than births. The Top 10 countries for emigration are; France, Germany, Argentina, USA, UK, Venezuela, Switzerland, Belgium, Brazil and Mexico where many oportunities can be found.

Germany is the second place in the world where inmigrants decide to go. This is because the good economy, the education and the employment opportunities. The Top 10 countries of inmigration are; Poland, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Czech Republic, Italy, Ukraine, Austria, Greece

Emigrants from Germany prefer going to this 10 countries; USA, Switzerland, UK, Turkey, France, Austria, Italy Kazakhstan, Spain and Canada. More than 100.000 germans live Germany each year.

Comparing the inmigration of Spain and Germany, more than double inmigrants came to Germany. However latins come more to Spain, consequence of the same language and close or border countries of Eastern Europe go to Germany. A curious fact is that both countries receive almost the same number of immigrants from Romania.

In terms of emigration the triple of people emigrate from Germany to other countries with respect to those who do from Spain, curious fact because Germany only doubles the population of Spain. By far the most German-emigrated country is the U.S., while the Spaniards emigrate to the border country France. The Spanish people also emigrate much to the Central and South American countries, but the Germans do not emigrate to these areas.

The causes for this inmigration are usually the same:
Wars: They are the main reason. When a war starts the inhabitants of a country are in the middle so they have to escape
Political conflicts: Although the country isn´t in war, an etnic group can be pursued.
Economic poverty: When a country is in crisis. A clear example was Spain from 2008 to 2014.
Lack of opportunities: They emigrate to a country where they can work in an area spezialized in their jobs.
Academic and family reasons: Many are the cases of people who decide to move from city or country because they got the chance to study some course or profession in an institution. Migration may also occur for family causes, they are plenty of families living in other countries.

And the consequences for this migrations are:
Psychological and mental effects: Human beings are forced to leave their comfort zone and emigrate. It also depends on the personality of the person. Emigration can cause; depression, anguish, panic crisis and anxiety.
Ageing of the population and increase productivity at the place of origin: The country of origin is the most affected when a migratory process happens. Usually the emigrating population is the youngest. As a result of this the popoulation in the place of origin tends to grow old.
Economic growth of the host place: Inmigrants often take jobs that locals don´t want what makes economy to be maintained constantly.
Cultural enrichment or threat at the place of arrival: Xenophobia is widespread in many socities.

In my opinion people, all countries should receive people in a good way because if we put in their situation we wouldn´t like if someone treated us like bad people or in a different way. We should imagine ourselves emigrating to another country and be able to see how people behave sometimes.
