A population pyramid is a traditional way of visualizing and explaining the age structure of a society. It is a graph that shows the structure of a society by sex and age at a given time and place.


Watching the sex ratio we can say that the group of boys is larger than the group of girls, this can be because of genetic issues but investigators didn´t find any demonstrated reason.
Sex ratio matches at 45-49 50-54.
Looking the graphic we clearly see that women live more than men or in other words they have a higuer life expectancy. The reasons for that might be:

• In the past men usually smoked and drank more alcohol than women, so they can have a worse health.They didn´t do too much exercise because the didn´t help at home.
• A few years ago men were the ones who drove and nowadays men usually do dangerous things than women, enough reasons so that they have more posibilities to have an accident.
• Men developed more illnesses and when they have it they don´t look afer themselves as a woman would do.

With regard to the age structure of the pyramid we can say that is a less developed country because they have conacev sides and the base is wider than the rest of the pyramid.
The shape of the pyramid shows that is a progressive or expanding pyramid, this means: high natality and low ageing population. This type of pyramids are typical of underdeveloped countries. The majority of the population is between 10 and 19 years and very few people reach 85 years old and even they die before.

Analysing the matches and bumb, the first bumb we can see is the one of the 0-4 years group. Since 2008 to 2012 the ONU helped a lot these undeveloped cuntries: a) they helped little children with disease, b) they donated money and food and c) they vaccined people against malria and other diseases that could be treated.
Another reason for so much birth is, as people die at very early ages they have children very soon and this happens all the years. Another bumb is the group of 10-14 years, beetween the years 1998 and 2002 in less developed countries such as South Africa took place many sport competitions as the African cup of Nations in 2002 which favored having children.
But we can also see matches in the group of 5-9 years (2003-2007) they were many diseases, elections, catatasthrophes, droughts and civil wars.
The young dependents are the most numerous in comparison with the adults (working population) that goes from the group of 15-19 to 60-64. The old dependents are very low figures that we can hardly appreciate.

The consequences of the demographic structure of the pyramid are the high natality because women have their first children at very early ages or also by tradicitions and customs had always been like this. The low ageing population maybe is because they don´t have the advantages we have in developed countries. They dont have access to public health, they live in a poor hygienic conditions and for which reason diseases are more transmitted, the food does not go through the necessary cleaning processes snd they don´t know which is edible and which not. All these circumstances make them die soon.

Possible solutions for this situation:
-impose compulsory vaccination up to 14 years, and free for underdevelopes countries as in this case
- The review of food
-facilitate access to public health
-give jobs
- build houses and flats in good conditions to live
- reduce retirement age

The growht will remain the same if we don´t help this countries to developed, people will continue to die soon and many children continue borning. So the future evolution of these underdeveloped countries is mainly to emprove their medical and hygienic conditions, so thar they reach a greater age.
In economic terms it's necessary to determine for each country which can be ist source of economic income and to help them to develop them. For example: agriculture, mining, tourism,...
As for social aspects it is also necessary to promote equality between men and women so that everyone can work in the same direction. If there is inequality women can be abused and the population will not advance.
